UPON RECEIPT:
Your ham slices will ship in a sturdy corrugated box. Because of the unique salt curing process, ice packs or dry ice are not required for shipment. Please refrigerate or freeze upon receipt.
STORAGE:
Smithfield Country Ham slices may be refrigerated unopened for up to 6 weeks, or opened and tightly wrapped for up to 10 days, and still maintain maximum flavor. Tightly wrapped ham slices (do not use aluminum foil) may also be frozen.
HEATING:
Your country ham slices are uncooked. We suggest heating in a frying pan approximately 2-3 minutes per side until fully cooked.
SEASONING:
Smithfield Country Ham slices are dry cured with sugar and salt. No further seasoning is recommended.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Perfect for biscuits, sandwiches, as an accompaniment to a poultry or seafood entrée, or chopped for salads and omelets. Delicious for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Purchaser and consumer
Absolutely spectacular. Nice individual portions. Cook the ham and make some homemade biscuits. The combination cannot be beaten. No waste.

Delicious!
I lived in North Carolina for 17 years and enjoyed country ham at least once a week. I moved to the west where country ham is not sold in stores so my only option was to order online. I ordered the uncooked center slices and have been more than pleased. What a wonderful thing to have in the house again!

Best Country Ham around
I was raised in the South and have had country ham all of my life. I recently ordered a combo of bacon, thinly sliced country ham and biscuit mix. The bacon was wonderful as was the biscuit mix, but I can say without a doubt that the county ham was the best I've ever had. Bravo to Smithfield.
