Cooked Country Ham Slices
UPON RECEIPT:
Your ham slices will ship in a sturdy cooler with dry ice. The dry ice may dissipate in shipping. Please refrigerate or freeze upon receipt.
STORAGE:
Country Ham slices may be refrigerated unopened for up to 6 weeks, or opened and tightly wrapped for up to 10 days, and still maintain maximum flavor. Tightly wrapped ham slices (do not use aluminum foil) may also be frozen.
HEATING:
Further preparation is unnecessary. Simply remove the slices and serve. Country Ham slices are fully cooked and best served at room temperature.
SEASONING:
Country Ham slices are dry cured with salt. No further seasoning is recommended.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Perfect for biscuits, sandwiches, as an accompaniment to a poultry or seafood entrée, or chopped for salads and omelets. Delicious for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Buttermilk Biscuits
UPON RECEIPT:
Your Buttermilk Biscuits will ship frozen and may arrive partially thawed. Please refrigerate or freeze upon receipt.
STORAGE:
Biscuits may be frozen up to 6 months, and still maintain maximum flavor.
HEATING:
Keep biscuits frozen until ready to use. Remove from plastic bag and loosely wrap biscuits in aluminum foil. Place in 400°F oven for 25-30 minutes. Open foil the last 3-5 minutes of baking. Oven times may vary. Cool biscuits slightly before separating.
Applewood Smoked Bacon
UPON RECEIPT:
Your smoked bacon ships frozen with dry ice in a recyclable Styrofoam cooler and may arrive frozen or partially thawed. Please refrigerate or re-freeze upon receipt.
THAWING:
If frozen, please thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
STORAGE:
Sliced bacon may be refrigerated for up to 10 days or frozen for up to 3 months, and still maintain maximum flavor.
HEATING:
Skillet Method – Place bacon slices in unheated skillet. Cook slowly over low heat to desired crispness, turning occasionally.
Oven Method – Preheat oven to 400°F. Place bacon slices on a broiler rack or shallow baking pan. Bake 15-17 minutes or to desired crispness.
SEASONING:
No further seasoning is recommended.
